Isis, the Egyptian goddess of empowered Femininity as well as Creativity and Healing, embodies much of what the art form of Middle Eastern dancing (also called Belly-dancing, Oriental dancing or Raqs Sharqi) offers women of today. This ancient dance is essentially a dance for women to express their strength and femininity creatively and to aid in
emotional healing.
Whosoever knoweth the power of the dance,
dwelleth in God.
